About the Business
Samuel Wood and Company is a progressive Partnership of leading Property Agents and Chartered Surveyors with dedicated residential sales, lettings and professional departments. The company directors are Anthony Wood, Andrew Cadwallader, Russell Griffin and Gareth Samuel who are driving the business forward based on the principles and pedigree of the founder Senior Partners Gareth and Anthony. Anthony Wood, FRICS, FNAEA, MARLA has been in the Estate Agency business almost all his working life, hailing from a local family of auctioneers.
In 1980, he took some three years out, during which he founded The Wood Brewery. He is on record as being the youngest person to gain his qualification within the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors! Together with Gareth Samuel, he formed Samuel Wood and Company in 1995. Anthony is married to Julia, who also works within the Company. They have a son, Nicholas, who is also a Chartered Surveyor and daughter Rebecca, who is at present working abroad.
